The Broadway Across America for Pittsburgh
has been announced for next year. The season includes 6 Tony Winners
from the past 10 years. The season will start in September at the
Benedum with Disney's The Lion King and conclude with Peter and the Starcatcher in May 2014. Keep reading to learn more about the season, and you can learn when tickets will go on sale.
Three
2012 Tony Award-winning productions, including Best Musical ("Once"),
Best Revival ("Porgy and Bess") and Best Scenic, Costume, Sound and
Lighting Design ("Peter and the Starcatcher") will be staged in
Pittsburgh for the 2013-14 PNC Broadway Across America season.
The
season also will include critically acclaimed audience favorites like
the Queen musical "We Will Rock You" and the return of Disney's "The
Lion King."
The 2013-14 season:
"Disney’s The Lion King," Sept. 3-29, the Benedum Center.
"We Will Rock You," Oct. 29 to Nov. 3, the Benedum.
"Elf," Nov. 26 to Dec. 1, the Benedum.
"Ghost The Musical," Dec. 31 to Jan. 5, 2014, Heinz Hall.
"The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess," Feb. 25, 2014 to March 2, 2014, the Benedum.
"Once," March 11, 2014 to March 16, 2014, the Benedum.
"Peter and the Starcatcher," May 20, 2014 to May 25, 2014, Heinz Hall.

Season
tickets range from $113 to $473. Single tickets will go on sale
approximately six to eight weeks in advance of each show’s opening.
